August Cinema is an Indian film production and distribution company found by actor Prithviraj Sukumaran along with director-cinematographer Santosh Sivan and entrepreneur Shaji Nadesan. Actor Arya joined with the company. Formed in 2010, Head office of August Cinema is situated in Trivandrum, Kerala.
In June 2017 Prithviraj announced through Facebook that he will not be the part of the company any more. He signed off from the Director board and added that he will be always a well wisher for the rest of the directors and company as well.
